Stellar votes

In a political atmosphere in which incumbents and political veterans are being rejected by voters, it's easy to jump on the bandwagon and opt for the newcomer. While I generally embrace this trend, I also recognize the risk involved in sending untested people to Washington who may be devoured by the deeply entrenched corruption that exists there. We should absolutely reject that premise when we have an extraordinary candidate with an impeccable track record of upholding conservative principles.

While spending hours and hours researching candidate voting records for a local political group I am involved with, I've discovered an incontrovertible truth.

Tim Huelskamp has an absolutely stellar conservative voting record. You don't have to take my word for it. I urge you to go to votesmart.org and find out for yourself. The voting records of legislators at local, state, and national levels are available. Actions speak louder than words, and all the mud-slinging by his opponents won't change his voting record.

It's been said that he has a temper. Well, that sure is a disqualification. We all have one of those. Who wants to send a politically correct, timid, bunny rabbit to Washington to take on Pelosi and Reid? We are in a fight to save our country. Let's send people to Washington who are willing and able to fight the socialist agenda of the Obama administration. Tim Huelskamp is far and away the best candidate to represent Kansas' 1st Congressional District.
