I live in the county near Antonino, and I am supporting Barb Wasinger for Second District Ellis County commissioner -- and here's why. I have served with Barb on the Hays community theater board for years and know her to be honest, hardworking and selfless. She has been willing to listen to both sides in a gracious manner whether or not she has agreed with a position.

I also know that she will represent all citizens in the county, whether they live in rural areas or in the cities. By supporting Barb, we have a chance to bring a different viewpoint to the county commission. I have no doubt she will represent all of us to the best of her ability.

Vote for Barb Wasinger on Tuesday.
