Words cannot truly describe our thankfulness for The Hays Daily News' annual coverage of Veterans Day.

Each year, the special section on veterans' photographs and news articles give those who are living a great sense of worth for their service. A Veterans Day Salute held in Natoma on Nov. 11 was captured for your readers through Kaley Conner's wonderful feature article, accompanied by Raymond Hillegas' vivid photographs published in the Nov. 12 edition. Readers of the article were encouraged and thankful for all who have served and are serving.

The American Legion Auxiliary Post 109 and the Natoma-Paradise-Waldo USD 399, co-sponsors of the community-wide program, thank your newspaper for giving honor to veterans and to the students who poured out their hearts in tribute to our "land of the free and home of the brave."

Laah Tucker, president,

American Legion Auxiliary Post 109

Aaron Homburg, superintendent,

USD 399, Natoma
