Red kettle thanks

On behalf of the Salvation Army and those we serve, we would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all your readers who helped make this another successful Christmas season.

We are so grateful to everyone who volunteered their time to ring bells for us, including service groups, churches, families, school groups and other organizations in the community. These volunteers and those who helped by donating to the red kettles and mailing in contributions have made a huge impact on our efforts. Together, we are making an impact on the lives of people in need.

Because of the generosity, our neighbors in need are receiving help not just at Christmas time, but all though the year. Thank you again for playing such an important role in the work of the Salvation Army.

If you are interested in donating or volunteering during the coming the year, call (800) 336-4547, Ext. 368 for more information.

May God bless you.

Stephen Wheeler

Service extension director,

The Salvation Army of Kansas and Western Missouri
