In respect to Mike Corn's Friday front-page article on "Sternberg fossils on auction block," it is easy for us empathize with Mike Everhart's distress over the sell-off of such notable collections by the San Diego Museum.

Let's call them for what they are: the San Diego Museum and Pawn Shop.
