Special to The Hays Daily News

Hays USD 489 and Kansas Association of School Boards would like to invite the community to an informative meeting about the district's schools and schools across the state. The meeting will begin at 7:30 a.m. Oct. 1 in the USD 489 Board Room, 323 W. 12th. Coffee and rolls will be available, and the meeting will conclude by 8:30 a.m.

Recently released public opinion polls suggest education leaders can improve communication channels between themselves and other community leaders. Public education achievement data, Kansas education issues and a Kansas improvement plan will be shared by staff members from KASB.

If you are able to attend, RSVP to Cheryl Shubert, board clerk, cshubert@usd489 or call (785) 623-2400.
