Hays After 5 to celebrate 38 years

Hays After 5 Christian Women's Group is celebrating its 38 years.

The group will meet at 7 p.m. July 14 at Rose Garden Steak Haus & Catering, 230 E. Eighth.

The featured speaker is Pinky Lee the Clown. Enjoy comedy, magic, face painting and balloon art. Nancy Dempsey, Raytown, Mo., is a children's entertainer known as Pinky Lee the Clown.

She is a former Toastmaster and enjoys speaking, reading and scrapbooking. She also will share how she triumphed after her father's suicide.

Cost of the dinner program is $12.50. Reservations are due July 10 to (785) 202-1036 or dkoster@eaglecom.net.
