Colby museum to host Archaeology Day

COLBY -- The High Plains Chapter of Kansas Anthropological Association will have its third annual Archaeology Day event at Prairie Museum of Art and History from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. April 27.

Activities and displays will include a Plains Indian camp, archaeological excavation, atlatl toss, prehistoric artifact display and a bottle detective activity. Admission is $2 for adults, $1 for kids younger than 16.

The Prairie Museum is located at 1905 S. Franklin Ave. Call Ann Miner at (785) 460-4590 for more information.
