Special to The Hays Daily News

On July 5, the Ellis County Ministerial Alliance will have its 10th annual "Swingin' for Support" Golf Tournament at Fort Hays Municipal Golf Course.

All proceeds of the fundraiser go to support ECMA's Second Mile Fund, which is distributed by First Call For Help and aids local Ellis County people in need.

All Ellis County churches are encouraged to send in $100 hole sponsorships to P.O. Box 173, Hays KS 67601.

A traveling trophy will be given to the church that registers the most golfers, and ECMA churches are asked to encourage all their congregations' golfers to register through First Call For Help at (785) 623-2800 or at Fort Hays Golf Course on the day of the event and give credit to the church they attend.

The cost for golf is $60, which includes cart, lunch and prizes. Registration is from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. July 5 with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.

A four-person scramble format will be played, but signing up as a single is encouraged.

Contact First Call For Help at (785) 623-2800 for more information.
