HHS club will explore Hays-China connections

Hays High International Club will have a series of presentations titled "Welcome to Your Neighborhood: Hays-China Connections," which will showcase opportunities to explore Chinese culture from Hays.

Each presentation will be at the HHS lecture hall at 7 p.m. and is open to the public.

The schedule includes the following presentations:

* Oct. 14: ""Study in China." Fort Hays State University students report on their experiences.

* Nov. 19: "Hosting an International Student." Friendship Families of Hays share their stories.

* Dec. 17: "Diverse China." Members of the FHSU Chinese Student Association showcase their hometowns.
