Hays Chamber to host legislative forum

The Hays Area Chamber of Commerce will host the third and final of the 2012 Eggs & Issues Legislative Forum series at 7:30 a.m. May 12 at the Welcome Center, 2700 Vine.

House Minority Whip Rep. Eber Phelps, D-Hays, Rep. Dan Collins, R-Plainville, and Sen. Allen Schmidt, D-Hays, will be the featured speakers at the May forum.

The forum will begin at 7:30 a.m. and will include a light breakfast. The event is free; however, RSVPs are requested. RSVP to the chamber office by calling (785) 628-8201 or emailing hayscc@discoverhays.com before noon May 10.

The Eggs & Issues Legislative Forums are a series of meetings with state legislators that provide area residents the opportunity to learn more about legislative issues.
