Arts council exhibits open

Hays Arts Council will host two new exhibits until Aug. 15. "Taking Flight" is a collection of water-color paintings by John Cody featuring florals and Saturniid moths. "The Fiber of Her Being" is a collection of hand-crafted sweaters by Georganna Johnson. The exhibit is donated in her memory. Hays Arts Council is located at 112 E. 11th. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
