Library schedules food events

Hays Public Library is offering two cookie events, Meat Free Meals and Kansas Cooks. Meat Free Meals will be making vegan style cookies at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the gallery. Kansas Cooks! will be hosting the Great-American Cookie Swap at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Kansas Room. Participants are asked to register at www.hayspublib.org or by calling Luci Bain at (785) 625-9014. Registration for the event ends Tuesday, and participants will be notified Wednesday how many cookies to bring. Participants are asked to bring one copy of their recipe to share.
