Wahlborg reunion

On June 28, 13 days before her death, Minerva Wahlborg was the guest of honor for a reunion and celebration marking her 100th birthday on March 20. Her family -- the descendants of Edgar L. and Cora (Landis) Allman and Gus and Anna Wahlborg -- met at Liberty Fellowship Church, Hays. The fellowship was decorated with 100-year birthday decorations, candle centerpiece, yarn-edged canvas bookmarks (all recently made by Wahlborg) and commemorative drinking jars with her birthday information. The family enjoyed a program that included sharing memories with Wahlborg, great and great-great-grandchildren singing her favorites and a drawing for prizes, many made by Wahlborg.
