Hays Lions Club Secretary Jean Gleichsner has been selected to serve as peace poster chairperson with District Gov. John Lee of Kismet.

Gleichsner will attend the first District Cabinet meeting of the year Aug. 16 at Rush Center.

Lions Club is the largest community service organization in the world numbering 1.4 million members in more than 45,000 clubs in 202 countries and geographical area. The Lions of Western Kansas, MD 17-L, is made of 1,750 members in 73 clubs which covers the entire western half of Kansas.
