Special to The Hays Daily News

Holly Dickman, Ellis County Horticulture Agent and the Ellis County Master Gardeners are offering a holiday horticulture program called "Dressing your Home for the Holidays." The program will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 5 at the Ellis County Meeting Room, 601 Main.

"Dressing your Home for the Holidays" will feature area master gardeners giving presentation of seasonal displays consisting of economical items, found objects and plant materials from the garden. Demonstrations will be given about how to transform a tomato cage into an attractive miniature holiday tree, fashioning logs into wintery holiday characters, using garden produce to accessorize the scenery around the house and more.

The program is free to the public, but registration is requested with the Ellis County Extension office at (785) 628-9430 no later than Nov. 2. Refreshments will be served and door prizes will be given.
