KDOT announces approved August bids

The Kansas Department of Transportation announced approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects in Kansas. The letting took place Aug. 20 in Topeka.

Those in northwest Kansas include:

* Decatur County -- 83-20 KA-4012-01, U.S. 83, from 75 feet south of junction U.S. 83/U.S. 36 to 75 feet north, surfacing, McCormick Excavation & Paving LLC, Stratton, Co, $26,977.00.
