Special to The Hays Daily News

The congregation of First United Methodist Church in Hays will gather at 8:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Sunday to honor veterans the day before the national celebration on Veterans Day.

The Spirit Ringers old English Handbell Choir, under the direction of Jalynn Nolte, and the Chancel Choir, under the direction of Johnny Matlock, will share in music ministry for the celebration. Evan Strong will accompany on French horn.

Between the two worship services, at 9:30 a.m. in the first-floor church parlor, there will be a come-and-go reception for the new associate youth pastor, Annie Ricker, and her family. Call the church at (785) 625-3408 for more information.
