Quilt show, scrapbooking classes to be offered in Lucas

LUCAS -- The Lucas Area Community Theater will have a Quilt Show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the community room with no admission charge.

Anyone who would like to display quilts can pick up a display form at the theater, Troy's Grocery or Brant's Meat Market. Call Lynn Schneider at (785) 525-6236 to set up a time to bring in quilts before Wednesday.¬ 

The Lucas Area Chamber of Commerce will have scrapbooking classes at 10 a.m. Friday and Saturday at the theater. Classes include a scrapbook kit for $15. Participants should bring 12 to 15 pictures. Fill out a registration form at the theater, Troy's Grocery or Brant's Meat Market by today to reserve a kit.
