DUI investigation is complex. There are certain things that pose problems in court when dealing with a DUI arrest. With a few tweaks to the initial investigation, many of these "problems" can be solved. Upcoming free law enforcement training will contain current case law that will provide officers with some new tools to do a much more complete DUI investigation.

Training will be from 1 to 5 p.m. May 28 at the Sheridan County EMS building, 1717 Oak Ave., Hoxie.

An underage drinking training program will provide an overview of current laws regarding underage drinking, such as social hosting, MIP, keg registration and open saloon. Information provided to offi cers will give suggestions on how to investigate and collect evidence to build a stronger case.

Training will be from 8 a.m. to noon May 28 at the Sheridan County EMS building.
