Cover Your Acres conference set for January
Kansas State Research and Extension and the Northwest Kansas Crop Residue Alliance will have the Cover Your Acres winter conference for crop producers and consultants Jan. 15 and 16 in Oberlin.
The meeting promotes new idea in crop production specifically geared toward northwest Kansas farmers.
Speakers will include university specialists and industry representatives discussing issues such as kochia control, cropping intensity, fallow efficiency, pre-season irrigation, fertilizer and use of corn residue by cattle.
The same programs will be offered each day of the conference, which will be at the Gateway in Oberlin.
Registration is due Jan. 9, and the fee includes refreshments and meals.
