Beatrice Marie (Haislip) Casad, 79, Overland Park, formerly of Stockton and Hays, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008, in Overland Park.

She was born Sept. 24, 1928, to Aubrey and Harriet Haislip in Harrisonburg, Va.

She married Kenton Watts Casad on Aug. 27, 1948, in Richmond, Va. She was a nurse at Stockton Health Center for 25 years.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons Brent Casad, Winfield, and Andy Casad, Seward, Neb.; a daughter, Jody Chatam, Overland Park; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Stockton Cemetery.
