Tim and Thelma Berland, Damar, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Danielle Nicole Berland, to Bryant Thomas Muir, son of Verl and Ruthmary Muir, Stockton.

Grandparents of the couple are the late Albert and Mary Berland, Jerome Benoit, Damar, the late Teresa Benoit, Shirlee Muir, Stockton, the late Leonard Erle, Regina Ostmeyer, Grinnell, and the late W.B. Ostmeyer.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Stockton High School and the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in accounting. She is attending the University of Kansas School of Law and plans to receive a juris doctor degree in May 2011.

The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Stockton High School and KU with a bachelor's degree in anthropology. He is an insurance claim representative at Farmers Insurance.

A July 31, 2010, wedding is planned at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Damar.
