Helena C. (Baalman) Bruggeman, 85, Oberlin, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008.

She was born Aug. 22, 1922, in Grinnell.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Larry, Colby, and Gary, Oberlin; two daughters, Regina Stanley, Oberlin, and JoAnn Shuler, Larned; a sister, Martha Horinek, Atwood; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church, Oberlin; burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Leoville.

Visitation will be until 8 p.m. today at Paul's Funeral Home, Oberlin.

A vigil will be at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to church, Masses, CLC or Leoville Cemetery Fund in care of the funeral home.
