Glynn Cobb, Roll, Okla., and Zach Werth, Elk City, Okla., announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

Parents of the couple are Gary and Cathy Cobb, Roll, and Stan and Rose Werth, Elk City.

Grandparents of the couple are Laquita Ely, Cheyenne, Okla., the late H.C. Ely, Avis Cobb, Roll, the late Fred Cobb, Verna Schumacher, Hays, the late Ralph Schumacher, Linus Werth, Hays, and the late Bernice Werth.

The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Cheyenne High School and 2009 graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a degree in criminal justice. She is employed with Diversified Family Services, Elk City.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Elk City High School and a 2006 graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State. He is employed with Cimarex Energy and is a volunteer firefighter for Elk City Fire Department.

A May 29, 2010, wedding is planned at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Elk City, with a reception to follow at the church.
