Vona Lea Dempewolf, 77, Rapid City, S.D., formerly of Sequin, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at Fairmont Grand Regional Senior Care Center, Rapid City.

She was born Sept. 26, 1930, in Brewster to Jesse and Florence (Abbott) Wilson.

She married Gene Dempewolf on May 7, 1953, in Leoville. He preceded her in death on Jan. 13, 1997. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a daughter, Kay Jackson, Rapid City; and a granddaughter.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Martin's Catholic Church, Sequin; burial in church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Mickey-Leopold Funeral Home, Hoxie.

A rosary will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
