Phillipsburg center part of idea competition
PHILLIPSBURG -- Venture Kansas is a regional idea competition to help identify and foster entrepreneurial ventures.
The program is a partnership between the Entrepreneurial Center in Phillipsburg and Kansas State University Center for Advancement of Entrepreneurship.
The program includes five sessions beginning Oct. 10. Topics include effective business models, market research and industry analysis, and growth and operations.
It also includes Global Entrepreneurship Week from Nov. 12 to 16, and concludes with a Leaders that Leap luncheon at noon Nov. 30 in the Huck Boyd Center.
There is a $250 fee to attend the sessions. Winning ideas will receive monetary awards.
