Boldra, Wasinger, Maskus among Tuesday's winners With all of the Ellis County ballots — not including provisional ballots — counted Tuesday:

40th Senate District
Allen Schmidt, D-Hays, led Ralph Ostmeyer, R-Grinnell, by a margin of 6,261-6,161 in Ellis County voting. In district-wide polling, Ostmeyer held more than a 10,000-vote lead with a 218 of 224 precincts reporting.

110th House District
Travis Couture-Lovelady, R-Palco, led Phil Martin, D-Ellis, 1,005 to 965 in Ellis County voting. Outside of Ellis County, however, Couture-Lovelady looks to more than 5,000-vote lead with 67 of 69 precincts reporting.

111th House District

Sue Boldra, R-Hays, appears to have unseated incumbent Eber Phelps, D-Hays, garnering a 5,737-4,912 advantage in Ellis County voting, although no vote totals have been reported to the Kansas Secretary of State's office as of 9:30 p.m.

Ellis Co. Commission, 2nd
Hays City Commissioner Barbara Wasinger has won over opponent Dennis Pfannenstiel, 2,131-1,680.

Ellis Co. Commission, 3rd
Incumbent Dean Haselhorst has defeated opponent Ron Adams, 2,541-1,923.

Ellis County Clerk
Democrat Donna Maskus has won the seat over Republican Butch Schlyer by a margin of 6,527-5,740.

Ellis County has an estimated turnout of 56 percent.
