Elmer J. Gross
Elmer J. Gross, 77, died Saturday, March 13, 2010.
He was a retired supervisor and installer with AT&T for more than 37 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran and stationed in England during the Korean War.
He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church for 57 years.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Betty, of 57 years; three sons, Dave and wife, Donna, and Mark and wife, Cathy, all of Wichita, and Kenny and wife, Denise, Flagstaff, Ariz.; four daughters, Cindy, Wichita, Brenda Scott and husband, Ron, Piedmont, Barbie Folger and husband, Ken, Topeka, and Joan Putnam and husband, Kenny, Olathe; a sister, Rosemari Bryan, Fayetteville, Tenn.; a brother-in-law, Harold Bull, Hurst, Texas; 14 grandchildren, Kendra, Melissa, Christina, Breanna, Isaiah, Jenna, Jaime, Ryan, McKenzie, Jordan, Natalie, Julia, Danielle and Jake; and two great-granddaughters, Grace and Ella.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Bernadine; a brother, Freddie; and a sister, Lorraine Bull.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church.
A rosary will be at 7 p.m. today at the church.
