Extension offers fire-CO safety program
The Ellis County Extension office will sponsor a free program on fire and carbon monoxide safety for seniors at 6 p.m. Nov. 13 at the Extension office, 601 Main. The program will include home fire safety tips, holiday fire prevention and carbon monoxide cautions. The speaker will be Ross Meder of the Hays Fire Department.
Registration is required by Friday by calling (785) 628-9430. Participants may bring a meal. Educational materials, refreshments and door prizes are included.
The free program is the final session in a series of three Extension programs especially for seniors and those who care for them. Seniors and their family members and caregivers are invited.
