FHSU Students for Life will have fundraising 5K
Special to The Hays Daily News
How does a 5K route, glow-in-the-dark T-shirts and the pro-life movement fit together? Fort Hays State University Students for Life is hosting the first Light in the Dark 5K Run/Walk on April 26.
The event will be at night, complete with glow-in-the dark T-shirts, necklaces and bracelets included in the $20 registration fee. The 5K route will be on the FHSU campus and will start and end at the FHSU Memorial Union patio. Proceeds will help educate students about pro-life issues and resources and also will help bring pro-life speakers to campus.
To register or support the event with a donation, visit forthays.collegiatelink.net/organization/studentsforlife/documentlibrary or pick up a form at the CTC HelpDesk in Tomanek Hall.
Registration deadline is April 10. Late registration will be accepted but will not include the T-shirt.
