FHSU men fall to Northeastern State

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- The FHSU men saw their six-game losing streak end with a 76-61 road loss to Northeastern State on Thursday. Fort Hays fell to 8-3 overall and 2-1 in the MIAA, while Northeastern State improved to 10-1 and 3-0 MIAA in in his first season in the conference.

FHSU trailed 38-29 at halftime and, like the Tiger women, struggled everywhere shooting. FHSU shot 39 percent from the field, 22 percent from the 3-point line and 45 percent from the free throw line. Three players scored in double figures, led by senior Lance Russell with 16 points. Four players notched double figures for the Riverhawk men,
