Tiger volleyball splits with Friends

WICHITA -- The Fort Hays State University volleyball team split a pair of road matches against NAIA Friends University on Thursday. In the first match, the Tigers lost 15-25, 25-23, 25-8, 26-24. Mallory Flagor hit .500 with 15 kills in the losing effort. Fort Hays hit .429 in the first set and then hit under .200 in the next three sets.

In the second match, FHSU won 25-17, 25-21,20-25, 25-17. Taylor Mares delivered 23 kills and hit .568. Fort Hays is 13-17 and Friends stands at 24-12.
