FHSU women use late run to down UNK

KEARNEY, Neb. -- A late run led to a 62-50 win Saturday for the Fort Hays State UNiversity women's basketball team against University of Nebraska-Kearney at the Health & Sports Center.
The Tigers were down two late, but closed the game with an 18-4 run for their fifth straight victory. The win moves the Tigers to 18-5, 10-5 in MIAA play. It was Fort Hays' fourth straight win in the Health & Sports Center.
Traci Kesyer had her third straight double figure game, as she finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds for the double-double. Kate Lehman added 14 points and Katelyn Edwards finished with 12.
Fort Hays is off until Saturday when they face Washburn on the road. Game time is 5:30 p.m.
