Vote Wasinger on Aug. 3

I am writing to express my support for Rob Wasinger, a Republican running for Congress in the 1st District to replace Jerry Moran, who is running for Senate. Wasinger is a fourth-generation Kansan, born and raised in Hays, and lives in Cottonwood Falls.

After meeting him through my friend, Judge Tom Tuggle of Concordia, I hosted Wasinger in my home for a reception. He has the right judgment, experience and values to serve us as our next congressman. He has a plan to revitalize our rural economy and stop our rampant out-migration problem. I also like that Wasinger is a great father to his 10 children and a wonderful husband to his wife, Meghan. His motto should be that of my hometown of Beloit: Vision with values.

Most importantly, I am confident Wasinger will continue the great tradition of visiting all 69 counties like Moran has, since Wasinger has been to many counties, even the most rural, several times. He will be the type of congressman who listens, and that's something we need and deserve.

Join me in supporting Wasinger in the Aug. 3 Republican primary.
