Geneva M. (Counter) Morford, 91, Oberlin, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008.

She was born Oct. 18, 1916, in Decatur County to Harry and Mabel (Adamson) Counter.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, L.W. "Woody" Morford, McCook, Neb., and Gene Morford, Oberlin; a daughter, Louise Blackburn, Amarillo, Texas; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Morford, in 1995.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pauls Funeral Home, Oberlin; burial in Oberlin Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. until time of service Wednesday, both at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Geneva Morford Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
