Kathleen Cooper, 83, Hoxie, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Sheridan County Health Complex, Hoxie.

She was born Feb. 10, 1929, in rural Sheridan County to James and Kathleen (Hines) Walden.

She married Ted Cooper on Sept. 5, 1948, in Hoxie.

Survivors include her husband, Hoxie; four sons, Dean Cooper, Omaha, Neb., Craig Cooper and Kevin Cooper, both of Hoxie, and Kent Cooper, Minneapolis; a sister, Joan Larson, Hurst, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandchild.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church, Hoxie; burial in Hoxie City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mickey-Leopold Funeral Home, Hoxie.

Memorials are suggested to Sheridan County Health Complex or American Alzheimer's in care of the funeral home.
