Lee Odle

Lee Odle, 81, Stockton, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at his home.

He was born Sept. 17, 1926, to Berten and Sophia (Trimble) Odle. He graduated from Stockton High School.

He married Aloha Ashley on July 13, 1946, in Phillipsburg. He was owner of the Comfort Motel which included a Phillips 66 gas station. He was a Korean War veteran, serving in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Kevin Odle, Ellsworth; a daughter, Marta Johnston, Stockton; a brother, Gale Odle, McPherson; two sisters, Grace Turnbull, Stockton, and Nellie Barth, Topeka; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Stockton Cemetery

Friends can sign the book from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, both at Smith-Moore-Overlease Funeral Home, Stockton.

Memorials are suggested to Stockton EMS in care of the funeral home.
