Jess and Peggy Pitts, Jetmore, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Traci Lynn Pitts, to Blaine Mathew Gabel, son of Ronnie and Marcia Gabel, and Mike and Sandi Maier, Ness City.

Grandparents of the couple are Norman and Ellie Pitts, Earl and Glenda Schaffer, Jetmore, Illene Maier, Pat Sheldon and Reita Gabel, Ness City.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Jetmore High School and received a bachelor's degree in general studies with a minor in psychology from Fort Hays State University. She is completing a secondary bachelor's degree in nursing and plans to graduate in May. She is employed at Hays Medical Center.

The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Ness City High School and received a bachelor's in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from FHSU. He is employed at H2 Plains LCC, Ness City.

A June 20, 2009, wedding is planned at United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore.
