Marvin Sander, Hays, and the late Donna Sander, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Sarah Sander, to Derrick Bussman, son of Rick and Derinda Bussman, Great Bend.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Hays High School and Fort Hays State University with a degree in nursing. She is employed at Hays Medical Center.

The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Great Bend High School, FHSU with a bachelor's degree in political science and history, and Southwestern College with a master's degree in leadership. He is employed at Heartland Building Center, Hays.

A Sept. 27, 2008, wedding is planned at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays.
