Sharon Kay Werth, 60, Ness City, died Sunday, May 4, 2008, at Hutchinson Hospital.

She was born Dec. 7, 1947, in Hays to Henry and Leah Wittig Schneidewind.

She married Richard Gabel in Ness City. He preceded her in death Sept. 17, 1974. She later married Richard Werth on June 3, 1978, in Ness City. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, Darren Werth and wife, Kerri, Parsons; a brother, Harold Schneidewind, Great Bend; a sister, Gloria Vogel, Hays; and two grandchildren, Ashley and Kyle Werth, both of Parsons.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ness City; burial in Ness City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, both at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City.

Memorials are suggested to American Diabetes Association or Sacred Heart School in care of the funeral home.
