Velda Mae Willis, 92, Ness City, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008, at Cedar Village Long Term Care, Ness City.

She was born Oct. 3, 1916, in Pawnee Rock to Earnest and Agnes Schaben Willis. She was a 1931 graduate of Common School of Ness City.

She ran a boarding house.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Bazine Cemetery.

Friends can call until 9 p.m. today at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City.

Memorials are suggested to Cedar Village or Hospice of the Prairie in care of the funeral home.
