Mike and Lori Vitztum, Hays, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Haylee Vitztum, to Matt Glassman, son of Joseph and Linda Glassman and Tom and Mary Toepfer, all of Hays.

Grandparents of the couple are Roger and Margie Batson, Bella Vista, Ark.; George and Carol Vitztum, John and Rosie Desmarteau and Ann Glassman, all of Hays; and the late Adolph Glassman.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Hays High School and a December 2009 graduate of Kansas State University in accounting and finance. She is an auditor with Grant Thornton Accounting, Kansas City, Mo.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Thomas More Prep-Marian High School, a 2005 graduate of the University of Kansas in political science and a 2008 graduate of Franciscan University in theology. He is a theology instructor and columnist in Kansas City and plans to attend school in the fall to pursue a doctorate in theology.

A June 26, 2010, wedding is planned at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria.
