Man injured in Rawlins County accident
An Oberlin man was injured when his car reportedly crossed the centerline and struck another vehicle at 8 p.m. Monday.
Adrian E. Overmiller, 24, was transported to Rawlins County Health Center after the accident, which occurred on U.S. Highway 36, 7 miles east of the Kansas Highway 25 junction.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported Overmiller's 1993 Buick Park Avenue was eastbound on U.S. 36 when it crossed into the oncoming lane, striking a 1999 GMC sport-utility vehicle driven by Frederick C. Rahe, 60, Parker, Colo.
Rahe and two passengers were not injured, the KHP reported.
All involved were wearing seat belts, the KHP said.
