Crossroads has busy schedule ahead
Hays chamber choir Crossroads is in the midst on one of its busiest holiday seasons.
Already, the group has performed in Hill City and La Crosse, at the Vespers concert at First United Methodist Church in Hays and during the Big Brothers Big Sisters telethon Sunday.
Coming up, Crossroads will perform during the Ellis County Historical Society Open House -- in the Stone Church -- on Friday night and during a Lions Club meeting Dec. 11 at Fort Hays State University's Memorial Union. That's in addition to their first appearance at the Cathedral Concert at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
"The group's very versatile," said Regi Wieland, the group's director. "There are things that they really settle into and love to do, gospel being one of them, but they're not afraid to try other genres of music, which is one of the things I really like about working with them."
