Oakley woman injured in I-70 accident
GOODLAND -- An Oakley woman was injured Wednesday after losing control of her vehicle on a snow-packed portion of Interstate 70.
Heather Rietcheck, 26, Oakley, was westbound on I-70 approximately 12.5 miles west of Goodland just before noon when she drove on a snow-packed area of the road and lost control. The vehicle slid sideways into the north ditch and overturned once, landing on its wheels, according to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol.
She was taken to Goodland Regional Medical Center with possible injuries. She was wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
