HUTCHINSON, Kan. (AP) -- A Kansas man involved in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program is accused of molesting a boy for whom he had been a "big brother."
Reno County prosecutors have charged 20-year-old Hutchinson resident Konrad Szyc with molesting a 12-year-old boy on Aug. 23. Szyc made his first court appearance Tuesday on a charge of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
Police say the boy is not a Hutchinson resident and Szyc wasn't a volunteer with the Reno County chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters.
A status hearing is scheduled for Dec. 16.
