Fort Hays State University senior Jordan Nixon was named to the All-Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association women's golf team Wednesday.

Nixon led the Tigers in scoring average this year and finished fourth at the MIAA Championships a week ago, earning all-tournament team honors and helping FHSU win the school's first MIAA title in women's golf.

Nixon was one of five golfers selected to the team.
