For what it's worth ...
* Brian Brown will be piloting one of Ty Williams' 360 sprint cars this weekend. The two have been friends for a few years, and it all started when Williams inquired with Brown about purchasing a motor heater. Since, the two have kept in contact. Brown will compete with the World of Outlaws on Friday night in Merced, Calif., then hop on a plane the next morning to get to Kansas. Talk about some frequent flyer miles. ... Several area drivers will be competing at Norton or Dodge City this weekend. It will be interesting to see who is on top of his game from the start.
