OBERLIN -- The seventh season of the United Rebel Sprint Series is about to kick off, and series founder Rick Salem is pleased to announce another sponsor for the 2012 campaign.
Precise Racing Products has jumped on board to support the Rebels this season. The business offers tires and parts for all forms of racing at affordable prices.
"We've actually been involved with the tire perspective for years with the Hoosier tires," said owner Chris Archer. "We cater to sprint cars, late models, modifieds and others."
Precise Racing Products has store locations in Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Wichita.
"I've known Rick for a while," Archer said. "I want the series to succeed."
Archer said his company offers affordable solutions to racing products in many divisions. He's happy to be associated with the URSS for the year.
"The series is a growing series," he said. "They put on a good show for the fans, and it's good for the participants. Rick tries to keep the cost down with the tires and not have drivers burn them off every night."
Archer is a former sprint car racer himself, so the partnership is a natural fit.
Ronnie Warman serves as the manager of the Wichita store, which is located at 3801 W. Pawnee. He can be contacted by phone at (316) 945-4000. The store's website is preciseracing.com.
